TOEFL (Exam Preparation)
The UniTAFE TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) course is divided into three levels designed to equip students with the necessary skills to take the TOEFL examination.
Class hours/fees:
- Full-time 80 Hours (4 weeks)
- Part-time 48 Hours (8 weeks)

Who is this course designed for?
- Secondary or tertiary level students or graduates who have the intention of studying abroad in America or other countries and who need a TOEFL test result to meet the entry requirements for courses
- People wishing to have an internationally recognised certificate of English language competence (International TOEFL)
- People wishing to have a certificate of English language competence recognised in Vietnam (Institutional TOEFL) for employment or other purposes
What will you be capable of doing at the end of the course?
- Sit for the international or institutional TOEFL test armed with the skills and strategies you need to maximise your test score
- Obtain a TOEFL score commensurate with the level of the class you have completed
What will you study in the course?
The course is offered at four levels with a pathway approach. It aims to develop the English language skills trainees already possess and to equip them with the skills and strategies they need to maximise their test scores.
Each section of the test (Listening, Reading Comprehension, Structure and Written Expression) is covered in depth with appropriate practice in each skill.

- Overall test structure
- Whole test strategies
- Listening, Reading, Structure and Written Expression sub-sections
- Skills needed for each sub-section
- Test practice in all skills
- Feedback on test performance
- Time management issues
